Issue an Amber Alert...

My baby is missing! Yes, my happy, smiley, well behaved baby has been missing for about two weeks. My baby who contently lays in his bed when he wakes up and waits until I have Luke on the bus to finally get some attention. My baby who sits in his bouncy seat all day, if I let him, without so much as a whimper. My baby who loves to swing in the swing and falls asleep in about two minutes after the swinging begins. My baby who lays under the lights and sound toy and babbles and coos while I get ready for they day. My baby who sleeps in his own little bed and only wakes to eat at 6:00 or 7:00 am. My baby who takes long naps alone in his crib. My baby who makes me think I could have 10 more little babies! My baby is missing!

Please let me know if you know of his whereabouts. He is approximately 24 inches tall, weighs about 16 pounds, has a little bit of light brown hair, blue eyes, and answers (with a smile and laugh) to the name Eil.

Well, yes it is a joke (kind of). Eli isn't missing, just his sweet disposition!

Oh, he can't be that bad, can he? Is he just still sick? Maybe he'll bounce back and your lovable, little boy will be back soon! I will be on the look-out for him!

If I find him I am keeping him for myself! I have never seen that boy be anything but sweet. I am used to babies who cry, won't let you get ready and all of the previous mentioned items. So sorry you really won't get him back if I come across that adorable baby! BTW-thanks for our support last night.

What a little angel. I'm sorry to hear he's taken somewhat of a vacation. Hopefully he'll relieve himself of whatever outlet he's finding and return to his sweet self soon. You deserve to have him home.

Can't wait to see you!

Okay, phew!!!! I was a little worried. Maybe it's just a stage at this age because I can totally relate. We've been up twice a night for feeding this past 2 weeks and Hayden seems like pretty high maintenance these days, hopefully it will pass for both of us!

So, it's one of those days. I hope it will be a short lived spell. I'm sure he will return.

Ha ha. Hahaha. I love this post. It's very random, and I love it. He'll be back...we all go through bratty spells (well, except me since I've always been perfect :)

Since I have just read your previous post, it is easy for me to comment on this post...you thinking your sweet baby is missing is just another of your control issues!!! He is not missing and he is just sweet, sweet, just not as little and under your control as much as you would like. It is a part of growing up for Eli to decided when he will sleep rather than sleep when you want him to...it is Eli's decision if he will let you know if he is hungry or if you will tell him when he is hungry. It is such an important part of growing up and it is your job as his mother to let him begin to make up his own mind. I'm sure it is difficult for our Father in Heaven to put up with us sometimes, but he allows us the opportunity to make up our minds. Now, re-think this missing baby thing and tell me if he isn't the cutest, sweetest, little boy who most likely is teething, or trying to get over his cold. Besides that, the more you serve him, the more you love him. Now, isn't that a pretty good lecture from your Mom? I love you and that wonderful, cute, sweetest baby boy too!

ha ha ha ha - I almost had a heart attack!!!!

I totally know what you mean though, especially the "going from wanting 10 kids to NO MORE in like one week" part. But you know he'll get cute again and you'll want those ten babies. . . again.

Olivia seriously? I'm flattered that you think I could actually sew that well...so NO I did not make my kid's costumes...that would have been just WAY too much for me to handle this year- um maybe next. I'm waiting to see photos of yours....come on, I doubt it's as bad as you made it seem.

PS- Aren't you supposed to be visiting soon?
