Lost and Found

Happy boy bouncing in his exersaucer.

You have to blow this picture up and take a look at what happened when Elijah sneezed.
(This abundance of snot has been part of his grumpiness.)

Yeah, Elijah is back! What a lucky, lucky mom I am. He's happy, he's smiley, he's content, he's a good sleeper, he's my little sweetheart! Today in church he had everyone behind him smiling and talking to him. Oh, I love this boy! Now has anyone seen my wonderful 6-year old? He has been replaced with a bad attitude sassy pants.

Luke, sassy pants? I don't believe it!!!

I'm so happy your little baby boy is back. It doesn't seem like he should be big enough to play in an exersaucer yet, should he? I love the snotty nose, Jack's been the same way!

I'm glad he is back. And those pictures are pretty darn cute. I have an idea, why don't we send your six year old and my three year old away somewhere together. We can FedEx them overnight to Geoff and Jadi. I'm willing are you???

I believe it. Mine's turned into the same kind of terror. Help where's the off switch every once in a while? Can I turn him back into a 5 year old...I liked that sweet boy I had, where'd he go to!

I am wondering where my sweet little 5 year old girl went to. Maybe it is something about 6 year olds. I hope everything is going good in your life. Hannah really misses Luke and asks all the time when we can go play with him. I miss you!

Get the violins out!!! You all sound like you have such terrible kids! Wah, wah, wah!!! I don't feel a bit sorry for you -- not a one --! I don't believe Luke is a sassy pants--maybe a bit less than happy, but not sassy pants!!!!

Wow, he looks so much like Noah to me. I'm glad he is a happy baby. Makes me just want to squeeze those cheeks.

I'm so happy for you to have that sweet, happy Eli back again!! Please don't tell me 6 is hard because 5 isn't a cake walk at our house. Maybe Brooklyn will have a sweet 6...? I'll hope for that!

I miss you so dang much it's retarded Olivia! Can you please move back so I have someone to visit endlessly with and feel like I have some resemblence of family near.... I'm so looking forward to seeing you in a week. What I don't understand is why I don't call you (not that I call anyone...) but I really should do that.

Good luck with Luke. I'm sure you'll see him in there again soon!!

I am so happy for you that Eli is happy again. I know how hard it can be to have a miserable baby. He has the cutest smile.
I have to apologize. I feel like the worst aunt ever! Last night Geoff asked me if I saw your post about Noah's birthday. I thought he was referring to a new post. I couldn't believe that I missed it! You must have posted it on the week that I had tons going on. I don't think I had time to look at blogs that week. I feel so bad we missed his birthday. Starting at the beginning of this next year I am going to get organized and do better at remembering birthdays. So please give him a big hug and kiss from us and tell him we LOVE him!
P.S. Olivia,
Thank you so much for that card. It was the nicest card I have ever received! :)

I am glad that your baby boy is back! I am still hoping that I get an easy going baby the fourth time around. I'm sorry that you've now lost your 6-year-old. School tends to change our children. I still can only get Ryan (7) to shake my hand when we're at school. I guess he's too cool to get a hug from his Mom in front of his friends.

I knew Eli would return! Or should I say Rick Jr? He seriously looks just like Rick. I feel bad for his snotty little nose - I have a constantly stuffy one, too, and every time I blow it, then it bleeds. I think that's a VERY random pregnancy symptom...by the way.

You tell Luke that I say to buck up and be happy! Why is he being so sassy? Kiss those boys for me...if they'll let you...I miss you all!

You don't know sass! I will trade you one sassy pants for one smart mouth. Your boys are perfect and you should be so proud!

I am glad that you got your baby back, good luck on the sassy pants, just wait 7 is even harder. They think they are smarter then everyone and that attitude is just fun.

Good to hear that he is back! It is such a relief when they start feeling better and in a good mood. I am not sure what it is with all you McNeils posting snotty noses, but it is totally grossing me out!;)

Aw, that is THE CUTEST snotty-nosed smile ever!

Glad your happy little guy is back.

I am so happy for you to have your happy baby back. I totally hear ya on the bad attitude SASSY pants. I have a 7 year old just like it! Anytime you want to trade just let me know. Maybe it will help if we hang out with the opposite sex for a awhile!

Hey (I'm assuming Rick), thanks for the comment on our blog...I was hoping to get something like that from someone like you...I don't have time to crack open or review my lonely con law book that has collected dust...maybe someday I'll have the opportunity to pick up where I left off ;) I really appreciate the feedback & extra info - it gets my brain working again!

Is there some sort of blog restraining order? J/K! I totally read your blog on Monday... through Beau Dee's. Apparently she's just like Kevin Bacon!

It was nice seeing all your cute pics!

hey olivia~
We missed you last weekend! I don't know if you came down but I hope it was a successful trip if you did. I'm being a total hypocrite right now because I haven't updated my blog in forever nor do I plan to for a while, but I'm missing you and anxious for an update. How are things??
