Kicked out...

Out, booted, so-long, expelled, banished, shunned, disfellowshipped, suspended, or terminated. Any way you say it that's what Noah got from his nursery class. I guess that is what you get for "getting a baby with with my claws". The good news is that he can return to class when he is ready to obey the rules. Ah, so never? Only one more month until Sunbeams. How long do you think he will last?

Well,, like I told you the day it happened, I just can't imagine the Savior "shunning" someone, no matter what the crime was. I know it's no fun for other kids to have a child bullying or being mean, but actually being kicked out of nursery is a little contradictory to what the whole purpose of the gospel is. I think we need to be very careful here. How can you give a child three years old a bad experience at church? I'm on Noah's side here -- I know he is "challening" but seriously, kicking him out of nursery!!! Think again, fellow Saints.

With that face! I would NEVER believe he could do anything wrong! Kind of extreme kicking a 3 year old out of class...Kind of sad actually. I am sure he will do great in sunbeams. Maybe he is just bored with the babies.

Sorry, but I must disagree with mom. When Patrice and I were stuck in nursery there were some kids I certainly wanted to kick out. Trust me, it is better than the alternative, which is when the other kids actually fight back with a plastic spatula and the leaders just turn a blind eye.

Well he looks like an angel to me! He truely can't be that bad, just a boy. I'm willing to guess that the nursry leaders... one doesn't have children, or two only had girls. Drop him off next week for another try maybe he will teach them some patients.

How sad for Noah! I don't understand how anyone could banish a nursery child.

It must be a genetic thing. We got asked to pick Sam up from mutual the other night because he was making weird noises. I was so mad, not sure at whom, Sam or the leader! He is 12 and surprise boys do make stupid noises. I agree with your mom.

Oh, looking at that face, how could you ever kick that boy out of class? I bet if they had nursery outside they'd find that Noah is a very sweet and well-behaved child. There's something about being indoors that makes him a little antsy, I think...

He'll be a great Sunbeam!

I am shocked and appalled that they would honestly kick him out. I recall wrestling a 5-year old for an entire year who would lick, bite, kick, scream the entire time. It all boils down to finding a way to channel his energy into something productive and that keeps him entertained. Our job is to teach the children and be examples, so they're taking the easy way out by banishing him!

especially because that picture is just so angelic. I love that kid.

My kids have also been "threatened" of being kicked out of nursery. . .

I didn't even know you could get kicked out of nursery... To Noah's defense... I have spent several Sundays in with him and I never noticed him being any more aggressive then any of the other kids. Seriously, I spent five Sundays in there when Sienna first started going. I thought he was pretty well behaved. There was the one time at the park that he put sand all over Sienna and down her pants and we had to turn her upside down to get it out, but I think that was just because he had a little crush on her. I can't wait to see him in Sunbeams... He will love singing time and probably be the best entertainment in there...

That is really funny. Probably not to you right now but somewhere in the future there will be some great laughs over this one.

Seriouisly I left a message the other day and I am not sure what happened to it. Noah will always be Noah and maybe this is just our warm up for what may come in the future. I have been called to school for some crazy things Ellie has done. It doesn't get easier!!!
