The work continues...

Well, except for all of the work going on on the new house, we have been having a pretty boring life. I can pretty much catch everyone up with just a few short sentences.
Rick: enjoying his weeks off of work spending time with the boys and working on the house.
Olivia:mommying and teaching cardio and yoga classes.
Luke: counting down the days until school is out (1 1/2).
Noah: LOVING having his dad around and working on the house.
Elijah: getting 5 new teeth at once, and NOT being happy about it.

The house is going great! All of the walls are up, inside and out, and it is SO fun to go in and actually see everything all laid out. I get excited everyday when the workers go home and I can go over and see what new things have been done. Today they were working on the porch and even needed a crane to lift the big beams into place. I love it more and more everyday.

Noah helping get the septic tank ready to be buried.

Putting on the big cross beams.

A view from the front.

A beam coming in for the front porch.

Rick helping get the straps around one of the big beams.

It's so nice to look out my bedroom window and see that house and KNOW that my little boys are going to be right there close! I know they can walk over to Grandma's any time they want to and I will give them all sorts of "healthy" snacks! You promise to be nice to my dogs too -- ok? Love it!

Wow, Olivia! Things are moving along really fast (to me, at least)! I am so excited about your house! It looks awesome and I'm envious at it's location - how beautiful! I can't wait to come visit when it's done! Thanks for the update and pictures. I miss you a lot. I just passed your old house and thought of how nice it would be to stop in and chat.

I am in kind of a haze lately. It's not very real to me that we'll have a baby in about 3 weeks. Jake has a trial the week that I'm due - I'll be so bummed if he misses the birth! Only so much we can do though. I'm optimistic. I had an exam today and my belly is measuring a little small. They're going to do an ultrasound at my appt next week just to be sure nothings going on. The Dr. isn't concerned but as the prego, emotional mother-to-be it makes me nervous anytime things are out of the ordinary...I'm sure it'll be fine. Anyway, I'm in a fog, like I said. I should be getting ready like mad but I'm not. It may just happen once the baby is born and finally a reality to me. Then maybe I'll buy some diapers and make up a bed.. :)In the meantime, I just want to sleep.
I miss you! Please let me know next time you're in St. George. I would really love to see you!

Yay yay yay! I was so happy to see the house when I was there, but it seems as if a lot has changed already! I hope that you are taking pictures everyday because it seems like it's going so fast, and if you don't...I'm gonna miss something!

It seems like you're all doing exactly what you'd like to be (except Eli maybe), so enjoy it while it lasts!

Your house is going ot be amazing! I like the big front porch. I was so sad to hear that Kristie got to see you and I didn't. We really need to get together this summer when we come to visit. I will call you so we can plan a visit.
Take care!

It was great to stop by with Joan and Lee to see your up and coming home. We were glad to hear that it is finally under construction. It will be wonderful for you. Drop in on my blog and see pics of our cruise. Good luck on the homebuilding process!

More pictures! More pictures! More pictures!

I wish I were up there with you guys building your house. I keep checking back regularly for more updated pictures. You don't even have to write anything if you don't want to. Things look like they're coming along great.

I love the progress and can't wait to see it in person in a couple more weeks!

Hopefully you're having loads of fun with the boys home to play together now, and hopefully little Eli is feeling better about those teeth! Now you can REALLLY start feeding him everything!
