Dear Blogging World,

Dear Blogging World,

Hello? Are you still there? It seems like you haven't been around much lately. It wasn't too long ago that I could turn on my computer and find that 5 or 6 of my favorite people posted something new, and I could spend a good hour catching up on what they were doing. Now it can be 5 or 6 days before ANYONE updates. Some of my past posts have had as many as 20 comments, letting me know that my friends and family find me important enough to check in on, and to let me know they did. My last post had merely 5 comments. For the past four years I have enjoyed having you in my life so that I could stay in the lives of so many of my best friends whom I never get to see (miss you guys!). I even love seeing and hearing from friends and family that I am around nearly everyday. I have never seen some of the babies my dear friends have had in real life, yet thanks to you I feel like I know them. I understand that life is busy, trust me I know. I just hope that this is a "slow" time in the life of blogging, and not a death.

Hope to see you again soon,

Olivia

P.S. I couldn't possibly do a post without adding a picture of my darling little girl. Here she is all dressed up for the 4th of July. Two months old already!

You KNOW I'm still here. And probably will be forever. These are my "scrapbooks" for the girls. Liv is so adorable! Maybe someday we'll see you guys at a reunion or something. Tommy's almost starting his last year of law school. FINALLY! I'm totally done working. Hope you guys are doing well! Oh, and I'm so bad at commenting. Sorry. Keep the posts coming!!!

Dear Olivia,

Some are still alive. Others of us are a mere ghost of a blog (with the best intentions). Since most of the casual blogging world has fizzled out and the comments with them, it's a little less fun to blog. Instead, I intend on just doing my blog with the purpose of making a book. Intend being the operative word. So just watch out...you might see my blog pop back up on your "Recently Updated" list with 50 posts from the last year. And of course, I only expect a comment on the very top one. :)

Love,

The Ghost of Blogs Past

I, of course, am ALWAYS here in the blogging world...with one or two other friends. I have one very steady blogging buddy, but when I whine about it to you kids, you always tell me that people are out there reading...just not commenting. I totally agree with you in that I enjoy catching up and knowing what is going on with friends and family I do not get to see. I join you in calling out those less-than-enthusiastic bloggers, because we really do care! Now -- that Liv is the cutest little firecracker I have seen! I am proud to call her my beautiful little granddaughter!

Awwww..you do care. I actually wasn't trying to get more people to comment (although it is always fun to hear from you!), I just want people to get back to updating. I need to see are hear from those most important to me! Thanks to all you dedicated bloggers.

Liv looks so grown up! How did that happen?

And yes, I hear you about the death of blogging! It's so sad. . . I think facebook has taken over. But not with me! I still see the value in blogging. How else would I get to see pictures of that darling little girl of yours?

So glad you blog!

waaahhh.... since summer barely got started and is now half over I choose to abandone my inside life for the outside one. Except when I am feeding (like now) and am hen pecking with one hand. Sad to say Liv is catching up with Evie....guess I will feed her more WAAHHHAAAHAAA (insert sracastic laugh)
Liv is quite the American Girl Doll!

I agree, it does seem like everyone has been slacking off lately. I am glad you are still blogging though, I love to see pictures of your cute kids and hear what you guys are up to. Liv is adorable. She is already getting big, the newborn stage goes by so fast.

I promise my blog has not been forgotten about! I can't guarantee that I will blog before August, but I do have really great intentions of getting caught up once the kids start school again and I can have a schedule of my own! :) So I promise to be back 'soon'! Oh and that girl of yours is so freakin adorable, I want to reach out and hold that sweet thing!

Oh my word, Liv is the cutest little girl EVER!!!

I updatd my blog. Kind of.

And I agree about the blogging world. I can tell you what happened to it in one word. Facebook. (Which, by the way, you need to join. Everyone is there, you get a lot more detaied view into peoples lives and quicker responses to any picture or comment you post. I still prefer blogging but unfortunately, I think facebook has won the world over. Blogging is now a rarity.)

Miss you tons. We need to talk and update soon.
