Alive and well

I know, I know. I have been VERY delinquent on keeping up with my blog. I would like to cite ONE THOUSAND things that I have been doing instead, but I don't want this post to sound like a whine session. I have been feeling overwhelmed by the thought of catching up on all of the things that I have missed blogging about, so I have decided not to even try. The holidays were fabulous, and best of all we were able to spend Christmas in our new house. It was truly the best Christmas present I have ever received. We have been in the house for a little over a month and are finally settled in. Most of our stuff has found a place and it is really feeling like a home instead of just a house.

I know that everyone is anxious to get some pictures of the new house, but there are still a number of little project we need to finish, and some cleaning and decorating to be done, before I feel like having the big reveal. Maybe I can take it one room at a time. We'll just have to see. For now you will have to be satisfied with a picture of the boys on Christmas Eve. Ah, blogging world. It's nice to see you again. Let's stay in touch a little better.

Really, that's it???? It's a good thing I talk to you at least once a week, or I would probably not believe the "alive and well" title. I guess I shouldn't be so mean, I am sooo glad that you are alive and well and that you are re-entering the blogging world. After some of our convos, I have wondered if you ever would. I can't wait to see more of the house and decor! Glad you're back!

P.S. Why do the boys look so much bigger in pictures than real life?

P.P.S. Did you get your Valentine's from us?

It is Saturday morning, 7:00 AM and you might ask, "Why on earth are you up when you could sleep in?" I had decided I was going to break-in to your blog and update for you!!!! You have tons to blog about and yet you keep us in the dark!!! How are you ever going to become famous like Pioneer Woman if you never blog? I decided to take it in to my own hands and update for you -- and look at this! I don't even have to. Oh man, could I tell some interesting blogging stories about those boys and your cat and oh --- many, many other things! Better get to blogging if you don't want your mother telling your life for you! Glad to see you back, tootsie!

YESSSSSS!!!This is BY FAR the best thing I've seen today!!! I was wondering if you made it into your house for Christmas - WooHoooo! I love the picture. I'm so happy for you. And I can't wait to see more pictures of those handsome (growing - holy cow! has it really been that long?) boys and of course your new home.

So. So. Glad your back.

I could just say dito to the reasons why I let my blog go by the wayside. I feel like if and that is a big if. I ever have time to sit down blogging is the last thing because I have to get back up and get the camera and do a million things just to blog. Let's plan a getway and rejuvenate our souls!
