Despite my best efforts, it appears that Elijah is NOT turning out to be a very healthy eater!
The boys set up a "store" and got out a bunch of food to sell. Apparently they didn't get the Oreo's put away before Elijah found them. 
If you have ever met a Gunnerson you have probably had some of their homemade root beer. Apparently Elijah is a true Gunnerson because he LOVES it. (Apparently I am not a true Gunnerson because I like it quite a bit less than Eli.)

The secret is going out......right now! It is not only Eli -- but I also gave, yes GAVE Noah a whole bag of cheetos yesterday to pack around with him to snack on while he was playing. Oh no!!!! Oreos...cheeto....homemade rootbeer....what next? Oh yeah, I told all the grandkids they could get in the cupboard ANY TIME they wanted and eat WHATEVER candy they could find!!!! Ahhh... the joys of life! Next Grandpa will be giving Eli honeybuns and pepsi for breakfast!

The rootbeer thing must be a Gunnerson thing because both of my kids like it and I can't stand it. :)
That's just like my kids (they had girl scout thin mints the other day). My kids haven't tried the Gunnerson homemade rootbeer YET! But I sure do love that stuff (my husband can't complain about it too much, he says "it's not too bad")
Now that is just my style!!! Jack is definitley a junk food junkie---but I'm pretty sure I know where he gets it! Sorry I didn't answer yesterday, I left my phone home and forgot to call ya back last night. But definitely tonight I will so we can come up with a plan for the week!

Cam is right there with him! I fear for my next children because I hear that with each new child the diets become worse and worse. P.S.- Your house is looking GREAT!

I love when people comment about liking homemade root beer not really knowing about the unique flavor of Ricky's root beer. Eli should turn out to be a great eater, just look at his brothers. HA HA HA
I LOVE reading your mom's comments. I find them to be absolutely hilarious and so true...and if I had posted something similar...I imagine my mom posting the same thing! OH and we will be up around the 24th of July(My kids will be there earlier, but that's when I'm coming to pick them up!) if you are interested in meeting somewhere to play for a few hours!
I still can't believe Eli is already a year old. They grow up way too fast! He is so adorable. I loved finally getting to see him in person. We loved seeing you guys and I am so jealous of your new home. I can't wait to see it finished. Thank you so much for planning the fun family reunion. We had a blast! I am planning on catching up on my blogging soon. You motivated me. :)
